Full+1 error code flash and cutting out

Battery charge indicator top segment flashing and only showing 80%charge ,even when 100% on battery .
Motor tends to drop out at indicated 30% charge, occasionally drops out when on full load in max setting.
Is this a battery fault, ie when the Volts go down the Amps increase ,thus causing overload on the motor, or is it a control issue.

Difficult to know.
On my battery, it is recommended to charge it for 24 hours once a month, to balance the cells.
You could try to charge it continuously for a day or two, if you haven't tried that.
