Front Hub 24” Trike No Brakes!!!

Hey all. First post here so please be gentle.

Long story short I installed a front hub motor on my wife’s 24” trike.

Problem is the wheel is too far for the vbrakes.

looks like I need to do a front disc conversion but my front fork doesn’t have the proper holes for the caliper

ive seen some adapters in Amazon that seems to fit the bill

Had anybody done this conversion and offer some advice on what works?

Correct on the bracket, it looks it’s my only option

Any variation of vbrake will prob not work

Oh wait a minute, do I need longer brake cable so it can open wider???
