During a rear tire/flat change my chain came of the front chainring. Took forever to get it back on with the chain guard in place. Any suggestions. I have a Trek Vertex 2 I just recently bought
Try feeding the chain back onto the front sprocket from the bottom. A spring hook is also a handy tool for this field repair. I needed to perfect the process on my Verve+ 3 due to frequent chain-sucks prior to Trek's recall per that problem.
