Frey CC

Hi everyone; considering the CC for myself and my wife. Anybody in the South Florida area that wouldn't mind showing it?

Got mine today. Only reason I knew it was coming in was a chance look on ups site yesterday. the tracking from the company sucks when it hits the port.
I will need to change out the chainring. Flat Florida does not like the gearing. Spent too much time in top gear.
Will start in on the programming and setting up for comfort this weekend.

Startin to miss my CC! Great bike. If I rode more, I would buy another one in a heartbeat. Do you have instant throttle or do you need to pedal a couple of revolutions before throttle kicks in?

I switched out the 40t for the 46t Wolf also added swept bars, grips and a riser
Did you have to use a different chain? Also was it the wolftooth 130bcd/cx/road drop-stop b chainring?

No throttle in PAS0 which i love. In the other PAS levels I can use the throttle from a standstill.

Mine came programmed with a slight delay even in PAS 1-5. I bought the cable to reprogram it, but never got around to it. Frey was supposed to do it in China.

With a larger front chain ring you’ll need a longer chain to maintain derailleur performance.

I’ve never heard of a throttle “delay” with the Ultra motor, and would be interested to know how that is programmed.

Throttle in PAS 0 is turned off if Limited Current and Limited Speed are set to 0 for Assist Level 0. So, easy to customize.

Yeah, on all my other bikes, I start off in PAS 1 and give the throttle a little tap and I'm up and going before pedaling. With the CC, I would start in PAS 1 and have to pedal a turn or so before the throttle would work. It looked to be a pretty easy programming fix, however I don't own a laptop and didn't pursue it at the time.

That may be true in some cases, but I know of a couple more where derailleur performance is just fine with the original length....
