Flat rear tire on MotoTec 350W trike

Hi! I'm new to this forum. I have had my electric trike for two or three months now, and I love it. But now I have a flat rear tire (cue the whomp whomp music).

I thought I would be able to do the tire installation myself, but I can't get the dang thing off the axle after removing the central lug nut.

Any ideas? If I can't figure it out, I'm going to take it to a shop. But I was really hoping to be able to do it myself.

I found out what was going on!

The trike has split rim wheels. All I needed to do is remove the bolts in addition to the lug nut, and the tire came right off.
