First ride Gazelle T10 Medeo

79 year old looking to increase range. Been biking for past 35 years on various road bikes. Last one a Gunnar Sport. Purchased a Gazelle T10 Medeo and first shortish ride today. Enjoyed the flattened hills and ease of cycling. Some numbers on Purion display seem optimistic (speed, estimated range). Would have thought the Bosch computer on an expensivish unit would be comparable to a $30 unit I have on my road bike. It has temp, distances in hundreths of a mile, average speed, maximum speed, and time, trip, odometer). The Bosch has speed, distances of trip and odometer in miles, And estimated range.

Enough nit picking. Enjoyed the bike, a little like riding a new Buick (50 lb Bike) after using an aging triumph TR3 for several years.

I agree on the display. I'm disappointed in the fact that I can't see any 10ths or 100ths of miles on the odometer. Should we really have to think about buying another unit to see that? Bummer....(I have the Medeo T9)

Just bought one today. I'm a 70 year old ex-road rider who tore up his ACL. It IS heavy, after a road bike. If I had the money I would definitely like a super-lightweight. But the torque-sensing motor feels much more connected than a cadence sensor. I'll post a little more after I've put a few miles on it.

I hope you love it. I have been riding mine a lot since I bought it in June, and I still love it as much as I did when I first bought it. The only thing that I can't figure out is how to raise the handlebars. Apparently you can do that, but I'll be darned if I can figure it out. I've read everything in the manual, I've watched every You Tube video I can find -- no joy.
