I ordered a bike with a “100% money back guarantee” and it came. It’s a bad fit for me, just not good. Manufacturers fine print says $600 restocking fee (one of their big selling points all over their website is money back guarantee, I missed the fine print), they have ghosted me and deleted my post on the social media fan page. Now I know why reviews are so glowing. Ug. Lesson learned. Im going to try to sell the bike to recoup my money (it’s a very nice bike, just a bad fit size wise and function wise). Here’s what I’m looking for if anyone can give some recommendations.
-Peddle assist, throttle not necessary. I really just need a little extra help.
- smaller moter ok, current bike has a 750w mother and it’s way more power than I need.
-does not need super long range battery, I’m talking 15-30 mile rides on low to medium assist with hills.
- step through and comfort seating position an absolute must, my back is junk.
- can handle paved roads with bumps, packed dirt and gravel trails. No heavy off-roading
- budget $2-$2500
- must be sold in stores on the east coast (NH) I absolutely will not buy a high ticket item online again after this burn.
