Just finished this afternoon. Did a quick shake down ride around the block. The bike is sooo comfortable. Need to get a full charge on the battery and fine tune the D1X wireless shifter. I’ll get better pics in a few days once I get it out for a full ride. This is my second Hydra and I have to say probably my favorite. The other Hydra is set up as a trail bike so it’s not quite as comfortable as this bike. I’ll have to compare the two after I get more seat time on both.

Thanks to @pushkar for making such an awesome bike and in building my two dream bikes.

On my Orange Hydra I want to install the SRAM system and then compare the two.
I have an Archer wireless shifter on my e-gravel bike and after using it for 5 months I have to say that I'm not overly impressed with it.
If I were handling out letter grades (retired math teacher here) I'd give it a B-.
Be VERY careful how you power it on. If you press too hard on the on/off button it will fail. I learned this the hard way.
I don't know if it's just my unit, but it takes a long time for the remote shifter to connect to the main unit-almost 10 seconds.

Pushkar couldn't get a SRAM AXS wireless groupset for a couple of months, so I had him build the UC Pro with a Shimano 11 speed groupset.
As an option he did offer the Archer unit, but I declined. I didn't like it enough to buy another one.
Sometime in the near future I plan on switching the Shimano groupset out for a SRAM AXS kit.

Cuz Vinny, the bike looks awesome. 👍

Thanks! I have the Archer on another bike and it’s good for the price point. Obviously the SRAM system is probably better.

Cuz, handlebar what is it ? It probably contributed to the comfortable description of your Fat Sally.

I want a bar like that to secure my tactical satchel.

It will also be beneficial for camouflaging the ugly with the Hydraulic and electrical wirings on the Hydra.

Not cheap but worth it IMO.

@Cuz Vinny, how are you liking the backsweep angle on the Milhouse? I like the full width of the ProTaper but my wrists don't like the angle.

I bought one for my Scott EMTB and am having it put on right now. Should be able to get out with it on Saturday or Sunday. Thanks Cuz Vinny.

A piece of art. The Nextie's really set it off. Looking forward to your can-do applied to inevitable glitches.
I've ordered the 11sp drivetrain w/ D1x. Thanks for sharing - and the encouraging spirit.
Just in time for Christmas !!!
