ET Cycle T720 Just arrived, this is a BIG bike.

Why would they possibly ask for the entire bike back?
Because they can. They often do it knowingly that the customer is too desperate to be without a bike all season.

Ebike buyers that choose to internet mail order really need to man up.

Kiddies that want their hand held for their ebike to be treated like a Tesla dealership, that's what a LBS is for.

So I feel like some parts of this thread has been deleted or I'm just not totally following, but, in my year of browsing this forum way too much, and putting in a few claims on my Moscow, I never heard of anyone say Leon requested the bike back. They will send you parts, and if that's not enough for a warranty item they seem to tell you to take it to a LBS at their expense. It's a bike. Everything can be replaced, short of a damaged frame. Even then you can just put all the components on another frame. There's really no reason for an entire bike to go back. :)
No such thing happened, my rear rack had paint scrapped off showing the nice shiny aluminium below. I patched it myself with some flat black automotive paint. It's how I roll. The other two gents are simply having a philosophical discussion on the merits of reporting it to Leon Cycle... I could care less in this instance. Cheers

Yep, your right.
You stated immediately that you were fine with repairing the damage yourself.

I'm finding some businesses' are using the pandemic like they are crack dealers! 'I have what you need, and you'll get what I give you'!!

I just bought a T720.....

In the next few days i will ride ...

I am curious, what do you think about your experience now ?

Thanks and my best to you....

I am still happy with my purchase. Everything I have stated continues to hold true. Also as previously stated don’t expect 150km per charge unless you’ll be on PAS 1 flat surface no wind resistance. 75km is achievable using various levels of PAS, not sure about throttle only haven’t tried nor am I likely to. A couple notes not on the website. The rear has two reflectors, neither is a break light. It’s also an 8 spd rear derailleur only.

Thanks for your insight....

If you discover anything else about it i will read you with pleasure...

My best to you and your family....

The more you do PAS, the more battery you keep for the ride back.

Using PAS to bring your ebike up from stop to 15kph, then human power after that will let you easily go well beyond 80-100km urban roads.

Will also put less strain and heat to the "das kit" hub motor, which throttle-folks do burn/weld, and that is NOT honored by warranty.

Interesting remarks thanks....

The more i read about this T720 with his price tag, the more it seems the best deal in town and one of the most beautiful stylish ebike i have seen... I go buying mine tomorrow morning....

My best to all....

For those who want to see it:

Pedals are alloy not plastic...
Shimano Acera is good gear...
All the rest seems good...Not the highest quality but good one...

For the price a more than good deal.... Especially the T720....
Correct me if i am wrong...I am new in the ebike world, and i was reading non stop about them for 2 weeks...

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what if any the difference is between the Das-Kit G26 found on the T720 and the Das-Kit X15 used on the NCM Moscow, Milano, etc.?

I am in Oshawa Ontario, I did not receive any shipping notification at all, the delivery caught me by surprise. As a matter of fact my order on the site still states "processing"
Yes same here in Oregon. Ordered the 2 bikes and both shipped the 2 days later. Arrived unannounced, no text or email from Leon. YET the boxes arrived by Fed Ex wife here he delivered right to the top of the deck. Tipped him $10 when I saw him recently.

No but I've been actively checking into it trying to find more info. They are for sure different motors and the G26 doesn't seem to have "das-kit" molded into the metal casting anymore.

I am not a pro.... This is my first ebike....i can easily travel 100 kilometers with the level of PAS assist i need to....I try to keep it at pas-2 level tough...But the i used the power i need at the hill climbing or against wind or to pass over many slower bikes...The throttle is to be used economically tough...

The range with my ebike is then 100 km...Without too much economy and great speed on a great part of the road...

The pleasure i feel is very great.... I cannot figure out what are the defect of this ebike....Powerful great range, great style....

By the way i solved the theft problem at low cost...For an hour of bike rest near me....Or near my ears.....

I had 3 types of lock.... one lock on the wheel with a powerful battery alarm siren inside.... Another siren under the seat.... :) To make the thieves deaf trying to open the 3 locks......
And 2 different lock with 2 different chains, a normal one and a folding one...

I prefer my ebike to any car i ever own.... This T 720 is a gem.....I would like a pro to speak about his limitations....

My best to all....

Yes I agree it's a great bike I can't find a reason to dislike it at all. my economy is less than yours likely due to how many hilly areas I ride. I will very rarely ever leave it locked up anywhere, as I only use it for exercise I shouldn't have to. I do have a couple of very heavy locks plus a hidden airtag for tracking.

Thanks for your feed back....

Tracking is a good idea thanks....

Sometimes it is necessary to let the bike for an hour or less....2 alarm at 110 Db must do the job with a tracking device .... :)

And yes i go on the bike mostly on flat surface but with some hills anyway, probably less than yours.... The throttle is a great energy wasting....I try to use PAS mostly..... In these conditions 100 km is easy....I probably could do with pas. level 1 on flat road, 150 km, with no wind....Then their assessment is right....

As this seems like the most info anywhere on the internet about this bike, I'll ask here. Anyone know of a dealer in Los Angeles / SO Cal area?
Anyone able to compare this to Rad Rover 5 or 6 or Aventon Avenger? Seems like the price is too good to be true.

I listened a review on youtube and the guy own 2 rads and say that the ET cycle is more powerful....He seems to prefer it over the rad...

myself it is my first ebike but i live in paradise now with it.... But i am no specialist.... One thing say it all : price /quality parts ratio.... Try to found better at a better price with 2 racks metal fenders, with true leather very good saddle and an aesthetical look... Good luck !

This ebike is more powerful than most ebike i cross over on the road for sure... It is possible to make it go to 45 km per hour....But with his peak 34 km per hour with a powerful thrust it is not necessary for me...I prefer to keep the battery saving for the road....

I just ordered this bike, T720 last week. Enjoyed reading the comments. I had thought about the T1000, but decided against it because of 'hydraulic' disk brakes, having read somewhere if bike falls over or whatever; losing fluid and/or having to bleed brakes. Too much trouble for me to deal with. This will be my 3rd e-bike, I guess I'm getting pretty good at putting them together now LOL. My first was a Daymak Max S, 20"x4" tires. Had fun with this on my own property but then I bought my 2nd: Rad Rover Step-thru, and wow big difference. Its heavy at approx 80 lbs but I much prefer riding it, the 26" tires are far superior in my opinion and much more comfortable to ride. I am 5'5" 130 lbs and I love riding it, so I'm pretty sure I am going to like this T 720 even better.

I own an Amego Infinite+ which is basically an NCM Milano+. I was visiting a friend last week and he had just received a T720 and I took it for a few short rides on it. My observations:
Re the two motors, the G26 seems a bit beefier and definitely wider to fit in the wider wheels of the T720. Hard to tell, but may have a little more zip as well.
The T720 with the fat tires included is noisier than the Milano..which is to be expected.
The T720 seems very well built, and if a fat bike is for you, it seems like a bargain.

Never heard this one before 🤨?
