I have a Chadwick and Taylor 250 W bike the rear hub motor whines unite a bit my other bike but not same make is silent is there any thing to service on the drive hub

I test rode many hub drive bikes before buying. Some were quiet and others made that humming sound. Unless your bike was quiet when new and just started making the hum, I suspect it is normal and no cause for concern.

Most geared motors have some whine, and the shape of the drive signals from the motor controller has some effect too. Agree with above. If it's always been that way, it's probably the way it is.

Sometimes lube on the nylon gears is needed, but it's a job for someone who knows how to take apart the motor. I've never done it, and wouldn't do it just to look.
