Does anyone know how the displays work with the motor? What I mean is do I need to use specific display for a particular motor, or will any generic display work?
I'm trying to source a display for Bofelli 250W mid drive motor that came with 2016 FLX Trail (Gen 1). The original display that came with it is King-Meter SW-LCD, but sourcing it even from Alibaba is almost $100 which is more than I'd like to spend. So, if I can purchase a cheaper display I would prefer to do so.
With that said, what are factors I need to consider when choosing a display other than the supported voltages? Does it need a specific firmware for the motor? Any recommendation on a cheap reliable display?
