your not kidding, i was pricing for 30qs from amazon, samsung inr18650-30q cells. not the greatest, but very reliable and with the reliability easy to think about without wondering what it will do. they are about 6 bucks a cell. sorry, but the price to do it right is in my equation, that is why it is so expensive.

Better prices on Vruzend.com AND they have a V2 kit now that would save on welding. Nice stuff, reliable source, competitive prices.

My 48v Panasonic ga battery has 98 cells in it and a 50 amp BMS. NOT CHEAP even if you build it and it's a PITA. 24AH, don't like range anxiety.
