Dumbest Question Ever

I am embarrassed to ask this question. I have an ST2 and am having a really hard time figuring out how to remove the back tire. I am concerned I am possibly using the wrong tools, or even worse cranking on the wrong bolts. Removing the back tire hasn't been a necessity yet, but I am doing some long distance riding on some back roads and anticipate an occasional flat.

it's very similar to this video but with the minor change that you disconnect the power cable near the axle.

Is the bolt a hex key, or a torx tool.
