What the hell were they thinking?!? Who in their right mind would ride a bike in all that choya?
I always carry a multitool with curved needlenose pliers fur these occasions. Wudda shortened
extraction considerable. I´ve fallen in cactus more than once on foot; on a bike it´s nuts.

Knowing my propensity for self mutilation, I also carry a small upolstery needle & surgical rowel that
rolls out punctures on either side of a wound to prepare for stitches. My first aid kit is a rolling ER.
