DPC 18 Battery pages

Just added a Bafang to my trike. In learning about the DPC 18 display I noticed there are 4 pages of items listed under "Battery Index" that are monitored but there is no information displayed in the items. For example, the item battery temp is listed on the first page but the temp is not displayed for the battery as the display shows "_ _C. The same is true for all the items listed on the 4 pages.

I believe the data you get depends on the controller. I have a DPC 18 paired to a Bluenergy Bafang 500W kit and only voltage displayed. All other battery telemetry blank.

It is because the battery's BMS board did not install the communication agreement function, so the controller could not read the battery's information,
that's why you can not see any information on DPC18's battery index.

Do you know what BMS will have this function? Maybe a link to an example?

So can the communication agreement function be installed via the BMS board after the initial installation and if so, how is that accomplished?

I believe that you will need to replace the BMS with the function already installed on the board.

Just replace a new BMS board with a communication agreement, the BMS price add extra USD15 at least, I'm trying to find cheap and good BMS,

well if I found it I will let you know

yes, this communication agreement is a tiny board install in the BMS, with 2 more wires comparing with regular BMS.

If the BMS board is replaced, will this activate other functions besides the battery pages?

Not in the display... But there are BMS's with Bluetooth and apps that have similar information as well as data logging
