Your situation is Unfortunate : HAve you asked Court ? I believe he has one also. Was your's the Newest Model? How hard do you use the Bike ?

Unfortunate about your many problems. The suggestion to query Court was a good one.

On another note, also unfortunately, your post was extremely difficult to read and make sense of. Punctuating the ends of your sentences would have made it much easier to comprehend.

I found his post quite easily to read.

But if you are grammar police it will give you BIG obstacles.
He mentions very clearly the reasons for each time of the failures.
I appreciate this kind of straight forward posts.

If other people would write clearly of their issues and with a “Do not buy” Thread . We would have a clear idea of what is RELIABLE .

My “Do not buy” list includes : Stromer, Juiced , Trek and Specialized . And Possibly Giant.

One BIG exception though : Specialized CREO. That is the ultimate Road ebike .
Has recieved my award for Worlds most eye catching , most performing , ANTI AGING 😉 and sexyest ebike of 2019/2020.

There are too many horror stories about cracked frames and dropping batteries from high speeds for those brands !

It's not my intention to be grammar police, sorry if it sounded like I was. Just relaying my experience, in case being understood is the goal in sharing.

I agree. It appears that punctuation will become extinct when the only form of communication is hitting little keys with our thumbs.

I would still buy one. [shrug]
Bikes are like cars - some people just seem to have the worst luck. Chasing electrical gremlins can be an effort in futility.
Consider asking them to simply replace the bike with a new one. If I got a lemon I would be willing to kick in some $$ to make that happen.

For all we know OP is riding it in a swamp. 🤣

Spelling cops would go crazy here, with pedal and peddle. So often a poster is selling, peddling when they are actually pedaling.

“Politeness is to do and say the kindst thing in the kindest way”. Words from my Grandfather who learned them in the 1890’s.

True!
“Politeness is to do and say the kindst thing in the kindest way”
I would generally agree with this but sometimes the right thing to do isn't necessarily the kindest or easiest.

Let's take this exact post as an example. It's titled Don’t buy a specialised Levo. Specialized is misspelled and you might think "Big deal, people misspell things all the time." and you'd be correct, people do misspell things all the time. I, for one, am terrible at spelling.

Let's look at it a different way.

As I write this there are 479 people viewing this forum, 20 of them are members. So 96% of the people here aren't here to post something. I don't know why they are here but I can make a guess that the majority of them are here to find information be it a review or a repair. When I Googled the title of this post it was the first result that Google showed me but if you're searching for Specialized Levo to find reviews or opinions this post doesn't show up, at least it doesn't in the first few pages of the Google results.
Using EBR's own search engine will give you the same results.

You may be put off by post but I'm honestly thinking about the other 96% and hoping they have an easier time finding what they want.

He is reporting the same problems others have had, Specialized came out with a new harness to address that issue specifically. Should be under warranty.

I was considering the 2020 Vado 3.0. Anybody have anything good to say about them? I was also considering the Yamaha Cross connect..
Ed, Turbo Vados are excellent e-bikes, especially the 28 mph version. They share perfect geometry, are made of excellent components and the most important are equipped with torquey, absolutely silent Brose motors. Pricey they are but riding a Vado gives you a hint of driving the Ferrari.

My word.

What about the numerous cracked frames reported on the Specialized Vados?
There are many threads that have logged the complaints with the frame design.

Glad to hear!
I don't want to sound super negative, but I think we should share the pros & cons with EBR members.
