Does the Bafang Ultra M620 programming software work with Windows 11?

I was using the Bafang configuration software (Controllerst_torque.exe) on my Ultra M620 with a Windows 10 laptop and it worked fine. I upgraded the laptop to Windows 11 and now when I try to connect to the Port, the Bandrate continuously cycles from 1200 to 115200. I thought it might be a defective programming cable so I bought a new one and it does the same thing. I then tried both cables on my Windows 11 PC and and the same thing happens. The Bandrate just endlessly scrolls! Is the program incompatible with Windows 11?

I don't know as I'm still using windows 10...but I did have a similar problem getting it to work.
Be sure you have the correct USB port selected.
On my machine I have to manually type the info in as it doesn't populate the drop down selection. Must be all caps too... COM5 in my case.

Same here (W10), unless you manually type in the correct port, it behaves the same way.

Thanks for that info. I have confirmed the port on the laptop and PC. I understand about using caps and the port is correct and recognized. The device manager also shows the correct Port. I have to manually enter the Port format (COM3) every time I open the program and if the wrong port is entered into the program there is always an error message that pops up. If I knew for sure that Windows 11 is the problem maybe I could go back to Windows 10 (if that's possible).

Going back to windows 10 is easy.... All you need is a working flux capacitor and 1.21 gigawatts of electricity.

Did you install the driver for the dongle?
You may need to go back to a previous version if 11 has something new by default

you can try the driver here

Ok thanks. I just tried to install that driver but keep getting a "Driver Install Failure" message with no other information.

Try right clicking the com port when in the device manager, click properties, and setting the baud rate there.
