Does everyone use a torque wrench?

Having started to use the torque wrench, I have been surprised to find that it tightens things more than I did... so a bit of confidence that while I was pretty sure things were good and tight, I wasn’t overdoing the torque and risking damage. Gives me a better sense for when I need to adjust something on a ride.

Using a torque wrench is critical for carbon fiber frames and parts (like handlebars) because you can crack the carbon fiber frame/parts from over-tightening bolts. It is a good idea on other frame types just to make sure everything is within factory spec, but you can do without for alloy and steel frames/parts.
