Do you take the stickers off?

When buying a new thing, such as a computer, TV, ebike, or car. Do you take the stickers off? You know, those branding stickers on the computer or that white square window sticker, on your car, that advises you about anti-theft or whatever. I hate those and always take them off. The window stickers are the worst because you can’t see through them.

Recently, I’ve been noticing road signs. New ones with the plastic film still on them. The plastic starts to become brittle and is blowing everywhere.

Do you take stickers off things you purchase? It’s ok if you don’t. Just, it bothers me. So I always remove them. Unless they are needed during the warranty period.

Oh buddy, yes. Some are hard to remove. Have you tried canola oil? It’s great for removing sticky things. I use on my glass pipes to clean off Vado residue. You can use vegetable, avocado, or any other cooking oil.

When things get desperate, I call upon paperclips and old credit cards.

Various oils, peanut butter, Goof Off and other commercial adhesive removers, 91% isopropyl alcohol, various scrapers, dental tools — the list of label countermeasures goes on and on.

Some dream of a future with no war or hunger. I'd settle for one with labels that just peel off in one piece.
;^}

I'm not bothered by anything other than bloody, sorry, companies expecting me to give them free advertising, for example when buying a car and finding the garage has had the number plates made with their garage/business name on. I got a new car and refused to take it until they changed the plates removing their advertising

The nicer the stuff the smaller the logo, if any. I remove branding from stuff like jeans and use a sharpie on stuff like shoes.
Yesterday a woman was very pleased to see a sticker on her bike. She said, How cute! I explained that it's the PedalUma Pet-a-Llama and that he has saffron robes like that other Lama guy.
I attend weddings too.
