Do you guys have Halfords ebikes or these kind of torque sensors?

Hello,
I have had and returned a good few ebikes because there was one issue or another with each of them.
I am in the UK and gave just bought a Halfords 2019 Crossfire-e.
This bike has a torque sensor mentioned on this post in another forum. Hopefully I am allowed to paste other forums in here.

I have asked some questions in that forum but have not yet had an answer to my latest queries, so hoping because the Ebike community must be bigger in North America, that someone here can advise.

Thank you in advance for any replies given

You already bought the bike? Or considering one?
You rode one and wanted more assist? Does the display/controller have levels of assist? Some call them 'PAS' levels.

My Giant Explore has 5 levels and four sensors including torque. The higher settings provide more assist with less pedal effort. You might test ride one for comparison. I am not familiar with the specific bike in question, but my inclination is if your test ride is not satisfactory it may well not be the bike for you. It's kind of like dating. ;)

Some of the 2019 Raleigh US ebikes came with the Suntour ATS Motor & torque sensor system Halfords has used on the Carrera line for several years, you might ask in the Raleigh forum but the system was new to the US only last year so probably not many folk have one, is it still under warranty at Halfords? Also I see you’re asking on the UK Pedelecs forum, that’s your best bet

I have returned so many previous Halfords bikes because of faults, they refused to sell me any more. So this time I got one delivered to my door.
It works fine be, just difficult to keep pressure on pedals to make assist work at full tilt.

Thanks for replies.

I have another brand. I also returned another brand.
For the price, the new crossfire bikes offer the best value for money, and the fact Halfords have local shops mean I can take it back to get repaired under warranty, albeit as long as any modification is regressed or invisible.
Thanks.

for the price you're buying a very low end bike myself I would not expect perfection. I would not even buy a regular bike at that low end but thats just me.
