your the best. do you know if they make rear lights with a switch also?

Timpo, have you looked at (compared) the above to what ebikes offers?

1900 lumen front light with a switch
https://www.ebikes.ca/shop/electric-bicycle-parts/lights/spl-01-1900-lumen-ebike-light.html#

420 lumen front light with a switch

Rear light with a on/off/button built into the center of it (lumens not published)

I'm looking at the above lights for my projects this year and welcome your insight on the models you suggested and perhaps any comparison you may have to the lights I listed, if you don't mind.

Thanks!

I think Cateye Volt 600 is not a "wired" type, it comes with its own battery. With some work, any battery light can be wired into main battery - as long as the voltage is matching.

OTH, if you need a standalone switch for your already existing integrated light - to operate it via switch instead of a display - check Amazon for "handlebar switch". Cost about $8.

I didn't know that Grin made lights!

I have no idea unfortunately, in terms of which one would be better.. I think it all depends.

For me, I just use my normal bicycle lights.. and I don't have any switches on my handle bar.

sorry im not being much of a help 😅
Glad I was able to show something new to a long time member like yourself. :)

I'm giving the 1900 lumen and rear light from my links a try, will have feedback in a few weeks.

The only experience I have to date is a low cost rechargeable unit (can't even remember it's name now, lol) I picked up from a LBS for cheap (only use it now in a pinch if I'm riding a bike at night without a mounted headlight) and the Bionx claimed '2000 lumen' light kit on a few of my bikes.
