I have been researching the very best electric bikes from past few days for weekend rides and daily commutes. After reading reviews from Bicycling.com, Wired, and Electric Bike Report. Two models are regularly recognized as top-recommended options:
The 20" Folding Electric Bike from Gotrax
https://www.amazon.com/Gotrax-R1-Pedal-assist1-Pedal-Assist-Commuting/dp/B0C1VNBXMM?th=1
An cost-effective folding e-bike with a range of up to 40 miles, a 350W motor, and a 36V battery.
Coston Hybrid Electric Bike by Schwinn
https://www.amazon.com/Schwinn-Coston-Hybrid-Electric-Bike/dp/B09GPSVF2W?th=1
A adaptable hybrid e-bike with a range of up to 45 miles and a 250W rear hub motor. It is famous for its comfort, built-in lights, and step-thru frame.
I am torn between the two which one suits my needs. I want ebike for weekend rides and daily commutes.
Budget is flexible but need something which truly of best quality and long lasting. Which would you recommended me according to your experience.
Thanks in advance!

A folding bike and a commuter bike will ride differently. I suggest that you go to a bike shop and try one of each, any brand.

My recommendations would be for the Velotric Fold 1 or Fold 1 Lite for the folder, and the T1 for the commuter bike. You may have to add accessories like the rack and fenders. I also suggest that you buy through a dealer, not DTC online. If you ever need service, you will most likely have a better experience from your selling dealer.

I would take a step back and evaluate your needs and wants along with your budget. Both of those selections might do the job for a bit, but are not good choices for a quality ebike other than just something to putter around on here and there. If you only plan on riding a couple of times a month for a few miles on bike paths or in the neighborhood, they should be fine, but if you really plan on riding, like multiple times a week, distances greater than 10 miles a ride, with any gravel or trail use, then stepping up your game would be a good choice. Visiting a local bike shop and test riding is essential to finding a bike frame that fits your body type and size. Getting the wrong frame size will cause your experience to be disappointing and uncomfortable.

You could pick one of these up, see if you enjoy it for 6 months or so, learn about the life, and then step up to a quality ebike or e-mtb if you decided you love it and it is worth it to you. But, neither of those choices are great in my opinion. Letric makes some pretty good entry level e-bikes as a starting place.

I cant get down with the folding bikes...the small tires give less control...more mechanically complicated...for what?...so it takes up a square area instead of a rectangle?
