Display for the HD1000???

I just had a quick question and if anyone may know the answer, please let me know(as I am currently in the process of purchasing the HD1000)...
First time of fun wondering why the new HD is coming with the c961 display and not there latest, which I believe is a c965?
Secondly, does anybody know if the c965 display can plug directly into the HD connectors? Thanks Jason

Maybe it's temporary and maybe there is another 'new' display.

• I wasn’t crazy about the C961 display, it is my least favorite of all the displays. There is a new display in development from Bafang which should be released shortly. It should work with any BBS02 display.

BTN have this new 800U display, i reckon it could be an option with their BBSHD kit?
They sent me a 965a with my BBS02 which doesn`t have Temp or Watts read-out.

Hello I just saw your post and I hope you don't mind me getting back to you. I have the C965 display and I only see watt readings for my BBS02. I don't believe I've ever seen temperature listed. If there is a way to get that on there that I've missed please advise.

I was actually talking with a distributor and he had a package with the BBS 02 and a battery and the only thing was how was that he was selling it and it did not read the wattage. I feel like that's how they were able to discount it so much. I don't know how much you spent on this and if it was a package, but I was in talks with some of the distributors and they gave me a great package price of 580(each with a 48v 13ah battery and the BBS 02. Does it work well? Jason

Luna cycle now has the C961, C963, and C965 available with the BBSHD. According to lectric cycles there is a new display and it should be in the US around Christmas.
