Added Deity Carbon 35mm handlebars and 35mm clamp stem. More a bling upgrade but the bars should cut down on some of the vibration and the setup is very rigid. Very impressed with the fit and finish of the Deity parts. First time purchasing anything from them and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again in the future.

Yes, trails I ride a throttle is frowned upon.
And you removed your brake switches as well? The cabling looks so clean! I may follow suit if I can break the habit of resting my foot on the pedal at stops.

Bike never had the brake cutoff. I removed the throttle and dropper seat post. Have a dropper on my Turbo Levo and in the three years I’ve had the bike I never used it.

I had asked the question about the ability to remove the throttle a long time ago but don't think it was ever answered. Anything special that needs to be done other than simply removing it?

I've already used my dropper and will continue using it on trails where needed, but don't see myself using the throttle at all. I've tested it, but that's it.

And speaking of the brake cutoff wire, anyone know where to get one? I need a replacement and the only thing I've found online is a complete lever replacement that comes with the wire.

I just unplugged it, removed it from the bars, and tucked the connector inside the frame. There is a tiny screw that needs to be removed and then the plastic cable guides come out and you can push the connector in the frame. Then replace the cable guide and the screw. Very easy to do.

My bike never had the brake cutoffs so not sure about that one. I know Magura sells two versions of the MT5 brakes, one with and one without the cutoffs.

Sounds like tomorrow's project for me. I just replaced my handlebars tonight with the OneUp carbon bar and installed my new Ergon GA3 grips so I know removing is easy, I just wasn't sure if it impacted the motor or display if completely disconnected.

I’m running the Luna Mighty Mini display (Bafang 500C) so I’m not sure about the display the bike comes with.
