daymak chameleon anti-thief alarm won't shut off

i have a daymak chameleon when i recharged the battery, and then turned the scooter on to see if it was fully charged the anti-thief alarm went off and will
not shut off
I tried shutting off the circuit breaker and then turning it back on that did not help
Every time I turn on the scooter the alarm goes off
anyone have a solution for me
