Das Kit L7 mph/km/h

Just received mu NCM Aspen and all I need to say is WOWAH!!!!!! From a 15 year old mountain bike to this monster. Thank god it’s battery powered, its double the weight of my old rig BUT I absolutely love the freedom it is giving me. Its my daily driver and I live on a very hilly area so no more walking up hills.

2 issues I am currently having is:

My Das Kit L7 has no option to change from MPH to KM/h. I’ve watched numerous videos that show its a feature on the L7 and went through every setting on the screen. The screen that should show this function is blank! Is there anything else I can do?

The other issue is the gears are not shifting smoothly. I’ve contacted Leon Cycle Canada in hopes of finding a solution. I surely won’t ship it back across the country to have adjusted so not sure what to do next? Has anyone had these issues? Can I get it adjusted at a local shop and send the receipt for warranty? Thanks

Well, Update to the issue regarding KM/h to MPH! Seems like Das Fit has TERRIBLE documentation on their systems. I have yet to find official documents on how to get into the program mode. After watching a few videos, I was able to find a 4 digit code that worked. Having said that, there was no information on the net about how to change from MPH to KM/h. I got on the phone with Leon Cycle and they were stumped! They had NEVER (apparently) ran into this issue so they told me they would get back to me. I actually posted an online video and low and behold, received a response from an owner of a bike shop. Apparently, you need to hold the + button for 8-10 seconds in order to enter the mode where you change from MPH to KMPH or vice versa. I can't believe Das Fit or the dealer I purchased it from did'n't know the answer to this. In closing, I received a call back from Leon Cycle with the same instructions as the other bike owner. It looks like they had to do some research also. My bike is still skipping gears on the back derailleur and rubbing on the front derailleur so I will try to figure this out. Another couple hours of YouTube should get me going. Thanks to all who read and thought about my post.

Hold + for 3-5 seconds and the MPH will flash. 'when this flashes, press + or - to change. Let me know it this works for you. You dont need the code to change MPH to KMPH. The code is used for other settings.

YES and its amazing that Leon Cycle or any other printed information does NOT list this easy.step. For bikes that are NORTH of $1800, this should be standard information passed on to the consumer.

Yeah. Have you experienced noise of the back part of your bike when you ride, I am not sure what is the problem causing that. Sounds like rubbing noise. But didn't find apparent reason.

The Moscow use code 8018 I'm pretty sure but like mentioned, you don't need that to set MP/H or KM/H
