Well looks like another one is going to bite the dust, the donor bike turned out to be such a low-quality affair after a lot of fiddle-faddle modifying things, running down parts, a test run on the 85% completed bike proved to me this, put it back stock( or close, probably will put a quieter tire on the front with a decent headlight) not going to name the bikes vendor, it was no wonder this bike was so heavily discounted, gutless hub motor, 50 cent cheap pedals, no fenders, racks or lights hooked to the onboard battery, crappy seat, dubious front fork, yada, yada.
I sincerely hope next time I will just buy a decent bike, this crap is crazy man. One of the first things I ran into when trying to purchase a decent auxiliary battery, the battery came- good enough, turned the package inside out( no charger- found out why this battery was a little cheaper) quizzed the vendor," why no charger every other vendor always included charger?Ah , you didn't order charger( looked and dug around website and sure enough, the picture of this particular charger showed a pig tail but no charger( fine we will never do business again( not the first time I had bought from these Folks) My bad, still it vexed me a bit.
So the bare bones bike I was working on( had no idea it was so austere) is going on the road in its meager glory, when I get the light .fenders and front tire installed( hey I had to get real, this Ebike thing(bug) was like my first love( unreasonable devotion) , may cooler heads prevail. More later I am being paged by whom I must obey.

so true, we Folks with lower incomes are always hoping for a bargain, nowadays I just started setting my expectations lower."The one who expects little is seldom disappointed".

None of the 5 bike batteries I've bought came with a charger. The 2 defective ones from btrbattery (amazon) & sun-ebike warehouse(ebay), nor the working one from Lunabike. The charger I bought from luna at extra charge didn't work. I just bought 2 ea 38.4 v 20 AH used batteries; chargers that cut off @ 44 v are not even available. I will have to build one out of a transformer.

Well I got my smooth(sand tire) for the front today( the knobby was loud) swapped out the front rotor for a 203, gonna figure out how to mount my 17 watt led light already have a rack on the back now and a better seat, might buy a set of pannier from Lectric( the best bags I have come across) and going to ride the dratted thing, you never know it might work pretty good, because I like to pedal and got some "fender-ettes" on it. Will finish cruiser later( just a matter of wires).
