controller upgrade

I am, never would have beleived I would make it to this age to be honest. My message is this, the ONLY reason I made it this far is through erroring on the side of caution when it comes to my abilities.

Yeah well, some tortoises lives for hundreds of years but he never leaves his shell !

Jes2020, what did you do take care of your controller problem then? I am having the same issues since i bought the kit. Takes forever to get ahold of Rafe. I strongly believe the controller is too small to handle this kit. Almost burnt the 2nd one now after just going 3 miles. Shouldn't these have a larger current for a 1500w kit? thanks

Just a suggestion, but it would make sense to me to start a new topic stating exactly what your problem is.

After all that, I realized I misread your post. You have a overheating issue, which is obviously
completely different issue than being under powered.
