Commuter question - Middle of hot summer - what if it stays out in the shade?

I know it's not good for an eBike to bake in the sun. But, what if I parked it for the day, and it was under some canopy for shade?
Would the bike be ok in that case, or no?

He asked a relevant question. We often hear and know heat is the number one enemy of battery packs.

@FrankR My batteries have survived below zero F to 95F. Don’t worry about your bike in the shade. All we can do is try our best to mitigate potential problems. You’re parking in the shade good idea!

Just make sure the shade will stay all day. A cool shady spot in the morning may be baked in the afternoon sun.
