Cobi.bike rider power Strava integration

Last year the Smartphone hub/cobi.bike reported/uploaded rider power output to Strava at the end of a ride. This year, that doesn't seem to be happening. Is this a problem with my setup, or a result of the cobi.bike update of a few weeks ago?

it might be a bosch thing if I export my nyon recorded ride it does not have the watts I put out on strava. so it just may not be something strava accepts anymore.

Strava has had several updates too, so it could be a Strava thing. Can't help you as I'm not supposed to be on the bike for another 6 weeks or so.

strava tried stopping uploads to apple health unless you recorded from strava. they backed off from that in a week or so.

Interesting info, folks, but has anyone else noticed the problem I mentioned? It would be good to know if it's a strava issue or a cobi.bike issue. If the latter, it might be fixed by rolling back the app?

It seems less likely to be a Strava issue, since I did a ride on March 18 that uploaded to Strava with full data, including HR and Power. Two rides since then are showing data lacking. I have an older phone I don't use anymore with the pre-update version of cobi.bike. As soon as we get some weather that's not raining and warm enough to ride, I'll try out the older phone. This next week our temps wont get above 45 F according to forecasts.

Ah, I guess I made some assumptions since you referenced last year and this year in your post not last week/this week.
The last COBI update was in January; Strava had an update on 3/16. YMMV for when they updated on your devices of course.

So full data uploaded AFTER the most recent Strava update! Need to get out and ride to test the older cobi.bike build. Thanks, good data points.

Finally had a day above freezing with no rain, so I could get out and ride. Unfortunately, the older cobi.bike app crashes each time I try to connect to the hub. So I'm back where I started.

Is there any way other than Strava to record heart rate AND rider power during a ride with the smartphone hub/cobi.bike?

FWIW, I rode using the cobi.bike app May 22 and it recorded power in Strava. A couple of related questions:

1- The power that shows up on Strava seems to always be lower than the average reading I get during the ride in the Cobi.bike app. Anyone knows why?

2- I am about to get power pedals for my analog road bike, and I don't want Strava to average those power readings together with the e-bike power readings. Is there a way to keep them from averaging together? Or if not, is there a way to stop Cobi.bike from sending power data to Strava (or alternatively, for Strava to stop counting the power data from the e-bike?)

Thanks!

ya the few times I uploaded to strava the average is way off. I think it does not take pauses into it like the bike does. so it averages over the whole ride but who really knows?
