I love mine, but Pedego is not known for being cheap! We have both the Interceptor (3) and the City Commuter (1) in our household. I chose Pedego to have the local support. With 4 bikes, it's also great to have bikes that all take the same battery. Handy for swapping batteries when somebody forgets to charge. And, my local bike tech just told me that the bike was worth every penny I paid for it, due to high quality components.
This morning, off we go on errands on them! 1) Local (2 mile RT?) pick up of "kitty litter" buckets to make DIY bucket panniers. 2) 8 mile round trip to Best Buy to pick up our new remote.
There are lots of hills in our area, some steep and sudden, and, for the Best Buy pick-up, city intersections, so the throttles come in handy!!
It's just not that easy. Best bike for who? For what kind of riding? For what kind of budget? In what legal jurisdiction (because there are different restrictions from place to place)?
