Christmas gift for Ebiker

I would pass on a lock; getting the right lock for your bike is a very intensive tradeoff among cost, weight, risk, and bulk. I usually advise first-time ebike buyers to budget another 8-10% for the cost of the locks. Besides, if you give a lock and the bike is stolen, whose fault is that? If you wanna do lock(s), make it a gift card.

Thoughts on good ebike gifts, in no particular order:

Cold weather gear, for bike and human. There is neoprene cladding available for batteries. I'm partial to the under-helmet beanie as was recommended by another user here: https://www.baleaf.com/products/baleaf-unisex-thermal-fleece-lined-breathable-cycling-cap and "Touchscreen" gloves which are thin enough they don't cause any grip fatigue (disclaimer: I haven't had the opportunity to try these below 40 degrees, but I am using both every day this winter).

Low-numbers torque wrench: should be able to do anything from single-digit N-m numbers up to about 45 Nm. Proper set of metric allen wrenches with long handles, not the jacknife type. Good work light, battery operated with innovative clamp so you can put it where it'll be useful on that black on black bike. Bike work stand? 60 degrees needlenose pliers, 90 degree drill attachment.

Panniers, cargo bike running boards, cargo trailer if the rider seems to be heading that way.

Blinky front light or rear light if the stock lights can't do that.

If you're willing to go to around $500, everyone likes a spare battery.

Second charger (charge at work) or aftermarket fast charger (YMMV on this being welcome for a hyperlife battery person).

If rider is frequently mentioning an upgrade, whether brakes or fork or motor or controller, maybe a gift certificate with the vendor they're mentioning most.
