China tariffs

What is going to happen to the cost of most of these bikes when tariffs kick in in January?

Pedego owners on Nightly Business Report said they are moving their production to Viet Nam. They said that will increase their costs $300 a bike.
Other brands may not have enough engineers & QA people to make a move that fast. So the costs may go up 25%.

Tariffs already kicked in in Aug. I think the Jan tariff is for traditional bikes? Not sure, I don't follow that kind of news. The prices went up. If you do a search, you will see many posts about that subject, often with political statements and anger added. It's a very hot topic which nearly always increases the work for admins.

Magnum is ok we have made the changes necessary so we don't need to raise the price of our bikes.
