Got a new 12A battery and it is still on yellow after 6 hours of charging. How long does it take to charge this battery?

Because it charges at 2A, it takes 5-6 hours (12/2 = 6; makes sense) but you could get a 4A charger and cut it by half.

Thank you. It''s been on the charger about 6 hours and its still yellow. I will wait a little longer. Battery charger makes a lot of noise when the fan is going.

Light just went off (which means disconnect). Took about 6 hours for the initial charge.

And yes, I can verify that there is a Neo Carbon 12a battery.

Nice. Neo's charger works at 42V and 2A. 6 hours sounds reasonable if it was drained fully.
I never drain the battery to its last bar and therefore I only need ~3 hours.

Many people seem to want fast charging. It could be done but there is a reason behind why 2A charger is more popular.
If you charge at 4A - 6A, the battery assembly could heat up slightly. One needs to arrange the configuration (series or parallel) very carefully to minimize heating and maximize charging efficiency.
Extra info: Tesla's supercharger charges at ~380V-400V and at ~250A and the USP of Tesla is their battery pack and how it is configured/ cooled to maximize range. They suggest not to use supercharger too frequently. 220V is the preferred method. This is to avoid build up of heat inside the packs.

The charger sure is noisy............cooling fan runs.

charger is a non-serviceable item and any attempt to open the case will typically voice warranty. The fan seemed to quiet down after a few minutes.
