Charger3 GT enviolo, noise/buzz without motor engaged

Hello,

its my first modern ebike, thus have some remarks after few days of riding.
first thought is that when i pedal putting some torque, but without motor engaged (set to off), each time i make full turn i hear kind of buzz, gentle sound when the foot goes from high to low position, thus making significant load.

If bike is just rolling and i make same turn but without significant load pushing bike forward, no sound is produced.

i was expecting totally quiet operation, is this normal behaviour ?

How many mi/km on the bike? Do you ride in dusty conditions?

Brand new, No dust nor mud, maybe it’s just my paranoia, but sounds weird

Generally, I think noises are worth investigating - do you feel the buzz as well as or is it just auditory?

That is the CX model and is know to make more noise than the regular performance line. Does the noise increase as you increase the assist? If so, probably normal.

Actually the noise I refer to is when motor is off. Maybe it’s only belt meshing with sprockets, I’ll record video for easier evaluation

If you're feeling the noise as well as hearing it, I'd have the belt tension checked to start.
