CCS custom rack pannier tie down (Topeak)

So I just got a new bag. The MTS bag has a little bungie when the pannier is open\extended that lets you tie it down. It was designed to be used with their racks, and the CCS's rack doesn't really have a good place to tie it down.

So I printed out this guy and am testing it tomorrow. Its a little rough and needs a bit of sanding and green is what was in the printer. If it all works out i'll reprint it black. I also replaced the 5m x 20 mm bolt with a 30mm bolt to account for the extra thickness of the tie down loop.

I have to modify the file but the though hole is a big snug but it works. here are some pics and the .stl files encase anyone else wants to make them.

I'm guessing this will work on any Juiced bike that has the rack. Or any rack for that matter.

I picked this up during a flash sale for 60$ Since here in California, I can't wear my headphones on the trail anymore.

What do you recommend for side visibility? I've been eyeing the Monkey light configuration.

I bought this... car interior LED light kit. I power it with a little usb phone battery charger thingy.

here is a pic of my bike with those lights and here. I was thinking about the money lights but I don't like the look of the extra wires and one more thing to charge. I am going to upgrade next season to a tire that has reflective sidewalls.... that plus what I have going on.... i feel like if people don't see me at night they are blind.

Those are actually a better option! Do they project the to red lines on the road like that? This will be perfect for the busy street I have to ride down. The city closed the bridge that connects to Old Sacramento from the river, so I'll be a sitting duck by either riding on the actual freeway or taking the street form the trail.

I've tweaks the design to be a little bit wider and added a cross bar for the front of the rack so the Velcro straps have a place to hold on to. There are slots for the bar to be zip tied to the rack.

The tie down is now two pieces so it prints with out major over hang supports which make it a bit cleaner.

If anyone is interested in the new parts I'll post them later today when I'm home. The bag sits really solidly now.
