Can't shut 'er down!

Snow is finally gone and I am having a blast on my new TurboToy.
When I tried to power it down with a quick touch to the button it would not turn off.
Checked the online manual and got nowhere.
Any suggestions from the peanut gallery before I head to my dealer?

Keep trying. It is more than a quick touch and less than holding it down for several seconds. I also found that it was easier with fingerless gloves or no gloves. Holding the button down causes the bike to go through power-on diagnostics and cycle the 4 lights on the battery.

A quick tap is all it takes, do not press down the button. just lightly tap it.
