I found out about the lights when REI called to tell me that I could either pick up the bike or wait a couple of weeks for the lights to arrive. I asked if they were sure it came with lights and they said it did. I didn't want to wait so I picked up the bike and they will call me when the lights arrive. They did put in the wiring for it and in the latest pics I posted you can see the wires for the lights under the seat as well as near the head tube where there is a yellow sticker on the wire for the front lights.

I'll post some pics of the lights once they install it.

Yes please do. I was going to ask about the yellow tape :)

I ordered one today from Sports Basement ( a local co-op like REI). They didn't know that it came with lights, but it's very new to them as well. Bike shows up only on their own b2b system.

How is the motor sound in general?

On the Cannondale website they list a removable fender bridge. Does that mean fenders can be mounted on this bike?
I live on Vancouver Island, off the coast of British Columbia, where it rains a lot, so a fender option would be very desirable.

According to the owner's manual you can add at least a rear fender using the fender bridge. Owner's would know better.

The motor sound ,after approx 1000 km, is like a light whistle...

When I test rode the Lefty 3 I noticed a wire under the seat. I thought it was for an optional dropper seat post, but now I'm wondering if it is for a rear light?
Anyone know if this bike is wired for a dropper seat post?

I picked up my Neo Lefty 3 yesterday. Here's some photos:

1. Bikes sitting in my shop, waiting for the rain to stop.

2. Here's a photo of the expandable seat bag I use.

3. Finally, a photo of my cockpit.

In the next month I'm going to have to do some research on front and rear fenders, as I want to ride this bike all year long and it rains quite a bit where I live (Vancouver Island).

Looks great!! Interesting mirror setup (looks very effective and versatile). Enjoy your new ride! Looking forward to your review 😄

Mine is on route to my lbs. I should get it next week. Hopefully the fires will be under control by then. Air quality is very low right now for a long bike ride.

Whoa, what’s up with that mirror arm setup? Who makes that?

Very nice looking bike also, now that you mention it. That thing is gonna be a riot.

I can see that from the picture. Finding a decent drop bar mirror is like spotting a freaking unicorn. I like the idea of that setup quite a lot.

Congrats Deacon Blues I know you have been on the hunt for awhile. Sweet bike.

That L bar is cool and the bell is a finger flick away which is how I like mine also. They should market those!

I've been using the WTB gravel tires for 3 years now and they have been super reliable and ride as well as I need a tire to ride. Tubeless I can get away with 35psi on up to grade 5, basically rip rap, gravel but everywhere else they are great. I got a deck screw in a brand new resolute a few years ago that after screwing it out by spinning the wheel and pumping with the hole on the downside I was able to complete my ride. In fact quite a few more rides actually until one day close to home after a ride, POW, the snot plug had finally let go. I had to replace the tire but it was my fault for not sticking a boot in there.

Very cool!
I really like how Cannondale came up with this design and executed on it. How are you liking the ride quality and power delivery of Bosch Gen 4 motor?

Really rare to see a rear suspension on a gravel bike. I wonder how responsive it is compared to MTB suspension.
If you like having lots of ride data then Kiox display may come in handy.

These fenders may work well and matches with the overall bike color:

This is a beautiful, very well designed bike. Enjoy.

Thanks for the link, Ravi. I think the only fender that will fit on the front, since one side is completely open and there is nowhere to mount the fender, is a mountain bike fender that fits into the steering tube.
There are mounting points for a fender on the rear, though.

It rained for most of the day, so I didn't get a chance to go for a ride. With better weather in the forecast, I'll take her for a shakedown ride tomorrow.

The shop that sold me the bike gave me a great bike fit. Interestingly, the bike fitter spent a fair amount of time setting up my SPD bicycle shoes (cleats and insole adjustments). Seems my left side is a bit crooked. :p
They also switched my tires over to tubeless at no cost.

A bit thumbs up to Fort Cycle in Victoria. 👍 Excellent service.

Deacon Blues congratulations for Your new entry, I wish You shall enjoy 👍.Since I was cycling years ago the correct posture has been a firm must...The bio mechanic is setting for each bikes the best , or better to say proper , setup which has changed during the years.Clearly today at over 65 my back flexibility is not longer the same as atthe 30theen, exactly the same for the rest 😭Anyhow a perfect fit allows hours of riding without any post troubles.

Did your bike come pre-wired for front and rear lights? I know that the Bosch motor unit has connection points for lighting, but was there wiring in place for lighting running up the seat tube and down tube?
