Cannabis, how is it legalized?

Yeah, that's to much messing around for the time I have available. ha ha. I just ordered 64g of flower, and 40 10mg gummies for 160 cdn delivered to my door. I should be good for a month or so! 5 different types and 2 different types of gummies. I like trying stuff.

When I visited a legalized state in the US, it was like walking into a shop with a real menu—different strains, hash, weed, and even edibles with clear info on strength. You could buy cash, everything was above board, and the staff would explain effects if you asked. I picked up a small setup with some of the best banger hangers and just enjoyed a chill evening.

I've managed to get a full pound from a single plant growing in the closet.
The closet is 21" X 21" and the plant can grow to 4 feet tall.

This last plant was a Dud.
I didn't even bother weighing it. It loosely filled a single 1 gallon jar, but a one pound plant fills 2½ one gallon jars.

And the weed sucks too.. 🤣 It barely gets me stoned.
I don't know what happened?

I've grown the same plant before from the same batch of seeds, but this one was crap. 🤣

I got started really late too, because I ended up killing 3 seedlings before I got one to grow, wasting more than a month of time.
It's best to grow in the winter with the lower humidity.
High RH can easily lead to mold postless design.

Ohh,.. And buy Autoflower Femininized seeds, so you don't have to be concerned about light timing, or growing boys.
Regular seeds and plants can herm on you with the slightest light leak, then you've got male flowers on the plant, it pollinates itself, and you've got a plant full of seeds.

Autoflowers are WAY Easier to grow.
thank you for your suggestion

Had to make a run to the hardware store Saturday evening, using the ebike. Came upon this person dancing around on the corner, thought it was an advert for a business or similar. Get closer and read the sign and had a good laugh. Talked to the guy and he never said anything. He was older than I, being 60ish. Just another Saturday night....

Maybe he thought you were a giraffe?

“WTF is this giraffe talking to me? Is this even real life on earth, right now?”

I probably wouldn’t say anything either. Lol

How to get cannabis legalized? It's simple. Get the politicians hooked on cannabis, and they'll legalize it. Alternatively, convince the politicians that a medicated constituency is a compliant, easily manipulated constituency, and besides that, legalization will bring in more tax revenue. The latter is a much easier sale with the politicians, but either one will work.

Problem is, I'll bet many politicians are closeted drug users, but because they want to please their donors, they'll keep hiding it

Ha, no need to convince anyone in suits, I just went through Leafy DOC and got my medical card legit. Took maybe twenty minutes total. It’s kinda hilarious that it’s that easy for me but still technically illegal in half the country. Politicians love their tax revenue, they’ll legalize it everywhere the second it benefits them.

Well I got some delta 8 gummy vados and I can handle these, delta 9 doesn't work with me,under the right atmosphere the d8s are mildly hallucinogenic wonder how the "shrooms" do,perhaps Henry could tell us.

I got my med card a few months ago and have started to buy pre-loaded vape cartridges and really like them. The oil in them is around 85% THC. One hit and I'm good to go. They cost around $25 - $35 and last me for weeks. I really like that I only need to suck a small amount into my lungs to do the job.

So you're publicly admitting that you suck.... but only a little bit! 😎 J/K! Enjoy!

Honestly, it's pretty amazing that Cannabis is still illegal. Even the court of public opinion, alcohol is going downhill. there are statistics that show gen Z is drinking 80% less than previous generations. THC drinks are getting so popular around my area. Raleigh, Durham and Wake Forest, North Carolina are really embracing the change. Switching from alcohol to THC drinks has really helped me. Check out Sherlocks Glass if you are ever in our area! It's already an official starting point on all the different Bicycle GPS apps. They have a really great parking lot and parking garage. Raleigh brewing is also right next-door so for those who want to drink, they can go over there after a long ride as well.

Cannabis? Well, this subject interests me. I live in the UK and it is banned, so it is all black market deals, but it is crap, it is weed and i don't trust it at all, I believe it is contaminated with legal highs, of at the least just what is called skunk, a horrible 'high of high strength wipe you out'. That really is all there is in the UK these days. In the '80s it was only just hash resin, no weed at all, but even this resin was mucked around with, you'd find bits of polythene in it. You never really knew. UNLESS you went to Ansterdam where it was legal. Cafe shops. They had a menu. It was great, good stuff you could rely on. We used to go to a camping site called Camping Zeburrg and everyone was well stoned, real Cheech and Chong. That said, I have never been a big smoker, BUT, that said, at that time in my earlier life it did have some interesting perspectives which I am grateful of.

These days? well I don't bother. There isn't the good stuff around and, well, 'I learnt' from it, which was good, but now I know that, it only would offer me a change from lager.

BUT....if it was legalized here in the UK I would buy some and try it, knowing it would be more likely to be sound stuff, just mild, not mind-blowing. Make a change from lager.

But, I hear about ganga being legalized more and more. I suppose it is really to guarantee the quality, for health reasons. So what is it like in say the US in a state with has legalized it. Is it a shop and/or a 'cafe'? Is there a menu? Do you have choice of hash and weed and different strengths? And how it it going down in society?

Here in the UK it is legal to have seeds but not to grow them, though you can buy hydroponic set ups for folks to break the law to grow their own.

So, what is the score in a state which has legalized dope, can you buy it cash? How, a shop? Anonymous? Is it better stuff? Is it better in terms of the larger society? Do more people smoke? What's the score? Some people even compare information they find on places like the Simply Hemply official site when learning about regulated cannabis products and standards. Is it backstreet or open mall?

In U.S. states where cannabis is legal, it’s mostly a normal retail experience rather than anything backstreet. You buy it from licensed shops called dispensaries, which are clean, regulated stores where you show ID and must be over 21. There’s usually a menu with lots of choice, different strains, strengths, hash, flower, edibles, oils, and milder options as well. Everything is lab‑tested and labeled, so people know the potency and that it’s free from contaminants. Payment is often cash or debit. Socially, it’s become fairly normalized, similar to alcohol, and dispensaries are commonly located in regular shopping areas.

Da FK we are. I am a certified pothead and I will buck the government constantly if it's doing something ridiculous.
