Cannabis, how is it legalized?

FYI, my previous post above describes my cannabis use.

3 months ago I had surgery #20. Neurosurgery to remove brain tumors.

Following cranium surgery my Neurosurgeon gave me his written go-ahead to self medicate as needed vs. Oxy. Cannabis continues to be my daily enhancer — helping me through brain cancer — and still riding 100+ miles per week with my wife. Plus it enhances many other parts of my life.

BTW, I thought my surgery punch card #20 would grant me a free surgery. When I shared my punch card joke story pre-surgery with my neurosurgeon I think he was ready to alter his surgical route to the cranium by starting on the bottom end with hemorrhoid removal first and making that a freebee on the way through to the top. Serious guy, but still a sense of humor!

It's completely legal in all provinces of Canada. Thankfully! It's a great source of pain relief for me. I use a dose of 50mg of CBD and it gets rid of the pain from my knee and arthritis in my neck. The THC side of things is great too. I have 3 or 4 vaporizers, order my product from a grower in BC and I have a medicinal prescription for it. The cannabis at the local dispensary here is "ditch weed" compared to the quality stuff I get from BC. Even the grey market sellers are not as good as the BC one.

When it finally passed, I was excited to explore all the options available. I even checked out a bongs online shop to find some cool pieces for enjoying at home. It felt great to finally have access to quality products and know it was all legal.

Yes, the health and medicinal benefits of Cannabis are amazing. it's been put on the back burner for way to long. I am happy that Canada smartened up and stopped listening to the States and religious koo koos and legalized it across the board.

Legalization of cannabis can be a bit confusing since it varies so much by location. In my area, it started with medical use, and once that was established, recreational use followed. When I first got into THCA vapes, I made sure to check out the local laws to stay on the right side of things. It’s usually a step-by-step process where medical comes first, and then recreational gets approved later on. Keeping up with local regulations is key because they can change quickly. Just make sure you're aware of what's allowed where you live, especially if you're thinking about trying something like THCA.

Growing became a Huge hobby for me, once I lost interest in my car because it was a rusty turd and I didn't enjoy driving.

I spent a few thousand dollars in the past 6 or 7 years on everything involved in growing an indoor plant, and managed to grow a 1 pound plant inside my closet.

Then I lost interest in growing when I bought a new e-bike that arrived in November 2022.
Since then I've purchased another e-bike.
I've spent over $8,500 for the two e-bikes and all the upgrades, lubes, greases, parts pieces and tools to satisfy my new addiction.

My advice to anyone trying to save money is that you're better off being a pot-head than an e-bike-head.
Just get stoned and avoid the expensive habit of e-biking.

When I drink, one drink always tastes like more and I compulsively start pounding them back until I either run out or pass out.

I buy stupid crap on Amazon when I'm drunk too.
But not when I'm stoned.

Just make it legal across the board. You cannot overdose on Cannabis, you just get higher. There has never been a death related to using to much cannabis. Alcohol is MUCH worse for you than weed. There is no such thing as cannabis poisoning, but there is alcohol poisoning. I never touched it when it was illegal. I did start dabbling once it became legal, now I don't drink anymore and just use cannabis in either gummy form or most times in my vaporiser with ground cannabis buds. Both give me the same high, but the vape is basically instant, instead of a 45min - 60 min delay.

These are my wife's and my vaporizers. Starry 4s. They are great budget vapes with every part being replaceable. Batteries included. I have two spares as well. Worth the 135 bucks cdn we spent on them.

Don't know about thankfully. ha ha! It calms down my A.D.D. squirrel on crack brain to a more manageable level. I don't have any stress and I don't hurt in my bones anymore. I don't see anything negative about it.

Just to add what I posted above. I treat it the same as drinking. I will NEVER drive under the influence. I don't want to. I love going out to vape, then take my husky for a nice walk and enjoy the stroll.

my daughters high school weed habit landed me in prison for around 20 plus months( they really didn't know how to place me-had no score) what happened-I wanted her to show her "wild oats" and get it out of her system which happensareful often,I bought a good bag of bud and tried it didn't like the crap,so I gave it to me daughter who was smoking the stuff,with a stern admonition,be careful or you will get us both in trouble( of course she wasn't,the school did an illegal urine screen on her and the pussilanamous administration had to call the law enforcement and they in a big show of bravado ran me through the system( you wouldn't believe the things they tried to pin on me)another couple with a similar charge received nothing( class matters) the new sheriff told me I was railroaded offered to get the charges expunged(I declined) at this stage I do not care,got my firearms and voting rights back,being a pillar of the community and first time offender meant nothing,the the judge claimed his hands were tied due to"MM" federal sentencing( what good is a judge who cannot be a judge? just save money and let the CA do the jail filling? they must of had a cot that needed to be filled( worth 25K$ for the jail and prison. my rant I will let it go now with this little paraphrase from Orwell[ all animals are equal,some are more equal than others] stay off the radar folks.

All legal up here. I just goto the local grocery store and pick up a bunch of goodies. I also have my medical card and order most of mine from a small craft grower in BC. GOOD STUFF!
