Can i fit two Lectric xp bikes in ford fusion (2014)?

Hi,

I'm thinking about buying two Lectric XP bikes for myself and my girlfriend. We only have one car without a towing hitch (2014 ford fusion). Is it possible to fit both bikes in the car at the same time? Maybe one in the trunk and one on the back seat.

You can probably do it but you would work up a big sweat and damage your car or the bike at some point. You may want to look at a bike hitch that will fit your Fusion. Here is one for starters. Not sure if it will fit.

I do agree that a bike rack will be ideal. However, trunk mount bike rack doesn't work with this car. I have to get a towing hitch and hitch rack, which will cost a lot.

I'm not sure I would recommend loading 2 XPs in a Fusion, jmho...

If you put the back seat down you should be able to get 2 xp's in the back with no problem. Get yourself a 12 inch velcro strap for each bike . They aren't very expensive, a couple of bucks maybe. This will help you tie your front to the back when folded. You'll see what I mean when you get the bikes. It folds together but both sides are loose and will flop unless you strap it. Should have no problems. Later measure to see it the craftsman 50 gallon totes work and you may be able to slide them in side by side. Good Luck.
