Can I add a throttle to my LaFree e + 1?

Hi! I really enjoy my LaFree but it would be a plus for me if I had a throttle so I could go longer distances without concern of wearing out.
Please let me know if you’ve made this modification and how you did it. Thanks!

Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m quite sure you can’t add a throttle to that specific bike. Sorry.

Concern about wearing WHAT out?

Concern about wearing herself out... I think.
Oh. I thought it was about wearing something out on the bike and I didn’t understand.

I guess s/he should have a bike (is it Class 3) that has a throttle. So no pedaling would be required.

Me wearing out! I wanted to go longer distances and thought having a throttle as backup would be a plus. Thanks!
Using a throttle would use more battery and shorten the distance you can go with pedal assist if it was available on the LaFree. Just be patient, the more often you bike, the easier it gets. One of the things I liked about the LaFree was that it was very relaxing, not having a display telling me how fast I was going, or how far. I got along just fine for years not knowing that information. Enjoy the ride.

to go longer distances you need to learn to spin and not push so hard. if you can get into the 80 rpms range you can actually push harder with less effort. So get a bike computer that shows cadence and keep your cadence steady learn to shift to keep the cadence up and your effort lower. mashing is the worst way to get endurance.
