hi all
wondering if someone can point me to the right solution for this issue here:

it does not always happen, but it's getting boring. When i press the power on button, the ridecontrol display shows the Giant logo for a second, the it suddenly goes off.
After that i have to wait more than 20/30 seconds and retry. Luckily it works after a number of attempts, sometimes it's 1 or 2 attempts, but sometimes it's 10 or worse.
The phenomena is irrespective of battery charge level, it happens randomly.

thanks for any suggestion you may have

(sorry i forgot to add: Giant Explorer 2+ MY 2021, Yamaha 70 Nm motor, 500W battery in good state, >5000 Km so far)

So this is what I got from rideapp app

Any idea apart from the local dealer support?
Thanks

well, it seems improved since when i detached the battery and cleaned the connectors, that area was full of dried mud, leaves, sand and so on. now i have another issue: after the latest firmware installation battery lost capacity, before upgrade i used to go to office 3 times/week with a full charge, now only 2. battery status says it's at 95% of health, 67 charging cycles, 5K Km total.

Please tell me how many km on a battery and at what assistance (Giant % assistance).

Thats crazy,no all my contacts are clean its not a downtube battery its a horizontal connected to a backer the 400 powerpak, that pack is probs the best battery imo im getting power and all cables were checked ,theres no excuse in the manual for this there is if other things are wrong , apparently it comes up on a app as syncdrive problem but everything s synced!even the forks,i have 600watt downtube for another bike and i rate the 400over it especially for long distance

it was more or less 60km at level 4 (where 5 is the max), now i guess it's around 45 at the same level and it won't me allow to take a third day of commuting with the same charge.

I meant take the Ride Control App and tell me what assistance % (such as 250%) is assisted to Level 4.

Something's, wrong there. When I had a Giant e-bike with a 500 Wh battery, I would never been able to ride as much as 60 km in level 4. In Level 2, yes.

The app could have reset the assistance levels.

those are default values, never touched them so i guess level 4 is at 250% and 5 is at 350% , but let me say also that those values are for commuting on an almost flat ride so no big stress for the engine, but for sure i could do 3x18 km ride with a full charge, and arriving at home with 5-10% left charge.

I haven't messed with the app ,ive a giant entour e+ hybrid 400powerpak i believe its 2019 ive no display just buttons and ledlights the battery is mounted to a backer rail but could easily go on a downtube but i was saving that for another battery but honestly i dont think i need it i travel 14miles daily its always on full mode i ride backlanes couple of not so steep but long hills and bikelane city the battery last 3 days of this trip its only the last 4ish miles on that third day that i notice it but still on the same mode i never ever change or mess with it? I turn it on and leave it but id have usually about 10percent for them last few miles i know itll make it so thats why i don't mess with controls ill charge finish my last 2days charge it for the weekend and i give it hell on the weekends from shop chores to a 17 mile round trip and ill be carrying alot more wieght as i do love my fishing so its a backpack and its filled with munchies a stove and fishing gear so for a 36volt battery ive never had a better alround one id advise to try get use to a mode that suits and only change when truly needed, thats my 2cents on those batterys ✌️
