are you replacing a light? if so I just splice the wire.

Nah, not replacing a light. Trying to use connectors instead of physically altering the cables.

why not just splice it all you need is a knife or wire cutter and a bic lighter to do a great job of it.

For anyone similarly interested, Bosch uses a female connector by TE Connectivity with part number 2141467-3. Stock is highly variable across online suppliers.
