Black friday deals

I would love the HF1100 and using it as a commuter bike, but I'd hate to get pulled over and be questioned about the motor and whether I have an M1 or M2 license and registration. The RCS can get up to over 28 mph in off-road mode. I am expecting that the RCS is a 9 transistor 25 amp peak motor controller like the CCX. I've been told by Juiced it is, but what is advertised on their website is a 9 transistor 20 amp peak motor controller. Wondering if anyone with an RCS can speak to the motor controller?

I would love to upgrade to a CCX because the assist on my CC feel anemic after 10 miles, over 80% battery drain on 12.8ah at 16miles, & winter headwinds make maintaining low 20's a workout even in sport mode. Plus I've probably put over $1200 into it over 2 years/18260 miles of ownership. I'm not sure I could get much for it with all that mileage/use. At what point do you say you got your money's worth to justify a new bike?

Nice looking ebike with decent specs. It's using Shimano's new "trekking" e6100 motor, however, with 25% less available torque than the e8000 and is meant more for countryside road adventures. Its battery is also 25% less in Watt Hours - 400 vs 500.

Although it's otherwise much less of an "eMTB" than the Motobecane 27.5+ HAL eBoost Pro, it looks like they actually added a motor bash guard to the new e29 (something the old eBoost sorely lacks).

I want to upgrade to the CCX and my CCS is only 1 year old, runs like a top, has plenty of range with its 17.4 Ah battery. It's just that extra level of performance that urges me on. I think if I were in your situation, I'd figure I got my money's worth out of the CC and move ahead with the CCX. Especially since it's $300 off for the Black Friday sale. Shucks, I'm trying to talk myself out of it right now -- in the middle of home reconstruction from Hurricane Florence and don't really need to spend the dough, but boy do I want to!
