Custom frames designed so the motor mounts inside the frame instead of hanging outside the frame!

Looking forward to your feedback.

I'm not great at visualizing frames, but I was flipping from your pictures to the Townie bike pages. You seem to have a real pedal forward bike with elevated bars. Their 'step-through' is a 'ladies' bike, yours seems more unisexual.

I looked at Townies and rode one, the 7D I think. I told the salesman I wanted to put a motor on it, and everything looked a little too light, especially the brakes. I liked the bike, which is very casual to ride. I might have put a weak front hub on it, but I figured something better might come along. I think Lectric Cycle sells the Townies with the Bafang.

Not sure where you are going with this. Would you just sell the frames or build out to suit? Another Kickstarter? Are you thinking this is a relatively low speed bike, or something for the higher speed versions of the BBS02 or HD? They look sturdy.

The white frame is, well, stunning.

Hi George, thanks for your comment. The idea with this bike is to build the ultimate electric cruiser. We will be launching a crowdfunding campaign soon. We aim to sell them for around $1000 as an early bird for a limited time and then retail at around $1700. Here are some sneak previews:

If you can get the word out, you should be able to sell a few of them at that price. This is essentially what the ebike retailer around here sells. I'm not sure how you make the older customers aware of CF campaigns. If you can figure out a way, you might sell thousands. I'm interested because I know what the parts cost and you got the fat bike done. Lenny was selling the Juggernaut. I looked into that, after the CF was over. If you can't be 95% sure you are getting exactly what you think you are getting, CF's are annoying. IGG seems to encourage marginal projects.

Very simple, clean with the motor on top. I figure the battery is where the three tiny fasteners show? You might want to test those brakes at various speeds to give people a speed rating. Don't know if Court would review CF bikes during the campaign. Nice bike.

Great recommendations there, George. The Juggernaut was hugely successful for us. We delivered every bike earlier than promised dates with some additional perks added to the last few bikes.

You are right about where the battery goes - in the downtube where the three mounts are.

If you can think of any recommendations, please let me know!

Cheers,
Roshan
