Biking in LA

This may not be the correct forum and there might not be one at all to post this question but here goes anyhow.

I bought an e-bike a few days ago and loaned it to my daughter. She will be in LA during the summer. She'll work in Sherman Oaks on Ventura blvd.

Are there safe areas to bike on Ventura blvd?

I haven't been there in a while but there's a big recreation area called Balboa Park; I'm sure there's some nice safe bike paths in the park.

Except Balboa Park is in San Diego. It is very nice though; arguably the best city park in the United States.

Unless you are referring to Lake Balboa Park in L.A.
