Best tires/wheels for all-seasons commute on pavement

Hi,

so, I have a pair of Alex MD40 with Super Moto X (27.5 x 2.40) and I wonder if it'd make sense to switch to something thinner.

I guess they offer increased adherence and confortability vs a little more weight and a lot of (I suppose) friction.

My commute is, as titled, almost all on pavement. And I wouldnt like to change tires during the year, so I'd prefer having something that fit at best with everything: sun, (mostly light) rain and snow (although this is rare by me in Hamburg)

I could also mitigate the confortability loss with an suspension seatpot. Therefore so far I'm only afraid about the adherence and stability I'd lose..

I'm looking for feedbacks and comments from you, guys :)

I wish I could fit those tires on my bike!

Seriously, when you have a motor helping you out a little bit of weight and friction doesn't have much impact. Is there an range problem or other issue you are trying to solve?

IMO those are great tires. But most of the major manufacturers are making ebike-rated tires these days, no harm in trying out something else!
