best security ideas for ebike

I wouldn't pack a gun or an air tag. Do not need them. That stuff just makes people paranoid and nutty. I would not wish that upon myself. It is like the Gollum, "My perosseous." Screw that. The paranoia then creates a feedback loop of nuttiness and self-justification for the nuttiness, leading to ever more paranoid nuttiness.

My first job ever was in Tiburon at a place called The Hot Fudge Factory. I would serve ice cream to tourists and pack their fudge. I was only joking about the shotgun shell but it would give an immediate fudge enema.
:D

I have to admit, prior to my diabetes, I used to love fudge. I’ve never been much of a packer, though. ;)

Back in the early ‘90s, I used to ride the fire road up Mt. Tamalpais on many weekends, Pedal… Marin is a fabulous place to live/ride.

Marin is a fabulous place to live/ride
I live in the Southwestern part of Sonoma County with easy access to Western Marin. It is all rolling hills to the coast with places such as Tamales Bay and Point Reyes. One of my favorites is to take the single track gravel trails in Putnam Park to Chileno Valley road. We call that ride chili relleno to hot tamales. It is our version of the Cape but with hills.

Rode to Pt. Reyes once. That was a long day on the bike. The Mex food ride ( :) ) sounds awesome!

Here is what my town looks like in early December and an order of Mexican Fries. Welcome to the Poutein California! Zoom that.

There is a volcano of melted cheese under the other toppings on those California fries. This is what I eat for breakfast before a ride. The BLT has guac and queso so it is actually an LGBTQ plus sandwich. The queso is local brae that is melted into the free range apple smoke bacon.

The chocolate cake is topped with gold leaf. I know it is counter intuitive, but dog meat makes great meatballs, expecially I they are young and still tender.

Probably typos but people should understand the difference between Watts (W), which is the rate of energy consumption, and Watt-hours (Wh), which is the total amount of energy used or stored. A device drawing 6W for one hour uses 6Wh of stored energy. 6W for a week is 1008Wh.

Though a 1050 lumen LED would normally draw around 11W.

15mA or 15 milliamps is 15 thousandths of an amp, not millionths. 1 uA (microamp) is a millionth of an amp. But yes, very small. But any device system that has parasitic draw should have a switch to shut it completely off for storage.

sorry, mixed up the average listed (which is microamps) and the peak (which is milli)

still won’t add up to anything meaningful for a bike battery!
