Best hub motor ebike that’s not a Stromer

Hey guys

After having driven probably 30+ electric bikes from many many manufacturers I have come to a conclusion (let’s call it personal conclusions so that I don’t stir the pot) that both hub drive and mid-drive motors have their place and each is a better fit for certain use cases.

Given the use case I have, I feel a hub motor is a better fit for me.

On one end of the spectrum you have bikes from Aventon, Juiced, Ride1up and on other end you have Stormer (loved ST3). I was wondering if there is something in between. Love what @Ravi Kempaiah is doing at Zen Bikes. But Shakti won’t be available until year end. So was wondering if there is any bike meanwhile that meets the following criteria
1. Good hub drive motor with > 40 nm torque
2. Shimano Deore + drivetrain
3. Good to great front suspension
4. < 65 lb ideally
5. < $3000

I've not seen any reviews on this model, particularly their implementation of the torque sensor, which have many have noted, is a tricky thing.

I came across Alation too.

list right now is
1. Ride1up Ltd- not in stock
2. Biktrix Swift
3. Juiced Crosscurrent
4. Alation
5. NCM Moscow Plus

None of these bikes though fully meet the criteria. If I were to use metaphor of cars, then I was looking for a BMW in a world where Stromer was a Maserati

Zen Shakti looks like an awesome bike and checks all the boxes, but won’t be there before year end.

Wonder if Bixtrix Swift with hub drive motor should be on this list too.

I´ve 3k+ mi. on an NCM moscow,( currently $1079 from leoncycle seattle). The German 500w Das Kit hub just keeps getting stronger. Itś a cheap bike but very rugged with amazing climbing capability.
